London North Eastern Railway (LNER)

LNER (opens in a new window) is a rail operator of the East Coast Main Line operating out of the renown London King’s Cross station, serving Peterborough, Grantham, Newark, Retford, Doncaster, Wakefield, Leeds, York, Darlington, Durham, Newcastle, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness.

LNER, like Northern, is owned by DfT OLR Holdings Limited (opens in new window), having taken over the running of the route in June 2018, following the termination of the joint Stagecoach / Virgin Trains franchise agreement.
